Diana Chontos

Dear Friends,

Wild Burro Rescue would like to wish you a Happy New Year!  Its a new season, a new beginning for great things to come. We hope for an exciting and prosperous year for you.

We are so excited once again to share the latest from the sanctuary. We know it wouldn't be possible to have come this far if it wasn't for your contribution. Because of your help, Wild Burro Rescue and Preservation Project still exists.

Please remember that our income solely comes from donations.  We receive no government funding.  We are depending and counting on our friends and supporters to help us succeed with our mission.

Updates: The new gravity irrigation system is almost finished and the work is going well.  We are still working hard on our organic vegetable garden which has helped us tremendously to keep our costs in check.

We like to keep you posted with recent activities and stories.

Angelo 1 2013Angelo - saved and raised by Diana

The following story is of Angelo, one of our burros. His mom was pregnant in the wild and she delivered twins. One died at birth, but Angelo, survived. Following her instincts, his mom chased Angelo away to protect her dead baby. Diana, President and Founder of Wild Burro Rescue heard of this, and immediately took Angelo to the veterinarian for treatment to save his life. After this initial event, Angelo was raised in Diana's house. She fenced him in her kitchen and dining room area where she continued to love, nurture and raise him. He has grown so much, and is so loved. Angelo is one of our big burros and walks around like he knows it!

Wild Burro Rescue and Preservation Project would like to thank you once again for your tax deductible contribution. You have helped us to continue to maintain and eventually grow our wonderful sanctuary for all of our rescued burros, and animals. We look forward to your visit!

We are a charitable non-profit 501( c ) (3) we are counting on your help and financial support!  Every dollar you donate goes directly to the sanctuary helping the animals.

Please come and visit us, we promise you will have a great time. If you are unable to visit in person, visit our website at www.WBRPP.org and follow us on Facebook  under "Wild Burro Rescue Preservation Project".

Also on our website we have a sponsor gallery.  Some of our burros are older and have special needs. Sponsoring a burro would be a great gift for someone you love.

All of us at Wild Burro Rescue and Preservation Project Thank You.

For the Wild Burros, Always and Forever,

Sincerely Yours,

Diana Chontos
